AMBASSADOR - Liz Ellis
Liz Ellis

WRNSW welcomed its first Ambassador, Ms Liz Ellis in mid 2004. Liz is the captain of the world-beating Australian netball team and the 2004 & 2006 Commonwealth Bank Trophy Premiers, Sydney TAB Swifts.

Nicknamed 'Leaping Liz', Liz is one of the all time best circle defenders, who with seemingly little effort, can shut down taller players than herself and come from nowhere to intercept the ball from an unsuspecting attack line.

In addition to her esteemed sporting career, Liz is a lawyer who has made numerous television and radio appearances including The Fat, 110% Tony Squires, Triple J Breakfast Show, Sunrise and commentating during the 2004 Olympic Games.

Liz is pleased to be in a position to give back to the community, particularly encouraging young people to stay involved in sport and reach their potential.

AMBASSADOR - Kerri Pottharst
Kerri Pottharst

Kerri Pottharst is Australia's most decorated Indoor and Beach Volleyball player, having represented her country for an incredible 22 years!

She also remains the only Australian woman to have played professionally int he world's most prestigious A1 Italian Indoor Volleyball league.

It was back in 1992, after a sickening knee injury that should have ended her voleyball career, that she moved from Indoor to the beach and then went on to compete in 3 Olympics and win two Olympic medals.

One of those was Bronze at the Atlanta Olympics and then the Gold that everybody remembers so well, at Bondi Beach.

She is renowned for being one of the fiercest competitors in the world of Volleyball; she was never out of the top 10 and rarely out of the top six in International Beach Volleyball events.

She is an inspiration to her peers in sport and to others in their business and personal lives.

Kerri's vision is to continue to inspire and motivate through her warm and personal presentations and her fun, team-building corporate dayso n the beach.
